Guilds & Charters
Guilds are player-run groups that help you organize your team, recruit members, and build a long-term community. Charters are the “founding contract” used to create a new guild with multiple founders.
What a Guild Can Do
- **Membership & ranks**: invite players, set ranks, and organize roles (leader / officers / members).
- **Identity**: a shared name and presence in the community.
- **Coordination**: plan hunts, events, boss runs, or faction-style rivalries.
What is a Charter?
A **guild charter** is a temporary document where the future guild leader collects founder approvals before the guild is created. This helps prevent “one-person guild spam” and encourages real groups.
Typical charter flow:
1. **Create a charter** (choose guild name and initial details).
2. **Invite founders** (other players sign/accept the charter).
3. **Finalize** once enough founders have accepted.
4. The guild is created and appears in the **Guilds** list.
How to Make a Guild (Website)
1. Log in to your website account.
2. Open **Account → Guild Charter**.
3. Create a charter and add founders.
4. Founders accept the charter.
5. Finalize the guild when requirements are met.
After creation:
- Use **Account → Guild Management** to manage your guild and founders/roles.
- View all guilds on the **Community → Guilds** page.
Notes for Players
- Guilds are meant for real groups. Pick a name you’ll want long-term.
- Coordinate with your founders first (who will sign, when to finalize, who will lead).
- If you can’t see the charter/management options, you may need to be logged in or meet the server’s guild requirements.
